ORDERING:
All orders need to be submitted by Monday afternoon 12 noon delivery on Tuesday and Wednesday of the same week. Orders submitted after Monday 12 noon will be assessed for delivery depended on existing numbers of orders - we will contact you if we can not deliver.
Each item is listed at either a per kg price or an each price. If it is a kg price and you only want 500g (half a kg) at checkout please enter .5 against the item and update the shopping cart. For 250g = .25; for 750g = .75; for 100g = .1 You are able to go shopping and select each item you want and add to the shopping cart, then when you have finished your shopping list, go to checkout and then adjust all your weights in one go. Just go down the list of items, change the weights as required and then click "update cart" - you will notice all the prices update to relevant requirements.
Please note that bunched items can not be broken up eg a bunch of leeks is sold as such; same with bunched spring onions, bunched carrots and beetroot. I will actually list the leeks as a single item as sometimes 3-4 leeks is too much.
BOX INFORMATION FOR NEW CUSTOMERS:
All new customers are required to pay a deposit for two foam boxes (scroll to bottom of this page to add payment to your order). These boxes are to be used to delivery your Organicbox order. By paying a deposit for two this allows us to rotate the boxes around.
So with your first delivery you will use one box and then when you place your second order we will pack in the second box and collect your empty box. If you order more than a box worth Organicbox will provide the extra boxes.
If a box is damaged while in your possession and can not be reused please just pay a deposit for a second box. The cost is $4 per box so for your initial order you will be paying $8.
If you no longer wish to order from Organicbox please let us know and we will arrange to collect your box and refund your deposit. This saves wastage and more of the very environmentally unfriendly foam boxes having to be bought.
The decision was made to use the foam boxes as they protect the food, keep it fresh and keep it cold. If you do not wish to have your food packed in foam please let us know and we can do cardboard or waxed boxes. We use paper bags to put some items in eg potatoes so the dirt does not get on the other F&V but we will also use plastic for things like loose lettuce, baby spinach to keep it fresh and from wilting......if you do not want any plastic used for packing just let us know....
We will now be also using a plastic liner inside the boxes, plus the normal butchers paper. The plastic liner will protect the foam boxes from stains, spills and markings.
MINIMUM ORDER:
Minimum order amount is $36 (including delivery charge).
ITEMS NOT SUPPLIED IN YOUR ORDER:
When you place your order you will always be emailed a copy of that order. If you do not receive a copy that means that your order may not have been completed correctly eg error at the payment screen. So please email me asap if that is the case and I can retrieve it out of "uncompleted orders" for you.
We aim to supply all items that are listed in the shopping cart, but due to the nature of organics and also the restraints of my system, sometimes items do not arrive when ordered and I only find out on Monday or Tuesday that we will not have the produce. Obviously this is upsetting for us because we want to supply your full order, and we know it is disappointing for you as you are expecting your full order. But we just have to manage it as best we can. We now will update the Organicbox Facebook page each Tuesday mid-morning with the unavailable items - this will allow you to source produce needed for recipes as soon as you can.
We will often aim to provide a like substitute when possible eg desiree potatoes will be swapped with sebago etc etc but we will not swap potatoes with parsnips.......if you do not want substitutes at all please make a note on your order page.
All items will be refunded to you in full. Refunds are processed on Wednesdays - so immediately after your delivery or even on occasion before your delivery! Refunds will be issued in PayPal so if you are using PayPal to order please make sure you are a verified PayPal user as the money will go straight back into your account and can be used immediately. If you pay by Direct Deposit I will email you to ask you to send in your account details so I can bank transfer to you.
If you do not get a refund for an item that was missing in your box please contact me asap, and I will follow it up for you.
ACCOUNTS and REGULAR WEEKLY ORDERS:
For customers who are going to order regularly you may want to create an account. This will allow your orders to pre-fill your name and address details and also you will be able to save your orders. So if you order the same things each week it will already be loaded in your members area.....you are still able to modify it, plus add or delete items as required. Please click on "Member Login" found in the menu list to the left hand bottom, to create your account.
We are happy to set up a regular weekly or fortnightly order for preset boxes - so you dont have to remember to order each week. Email me to arrange this, and payment is made by Direct Deposit.

DELIVERY:
Delivery is every Wednesday for the greater Adelaide, although we do now deliver beach suburbs and some south east suburbs on Tuesday afternoons - you will receive an email Monday afternoon if your delivery is going to be on Tuesday.
Kalbeeba, Williamstown, Kersbrook area is now going back to a Wednesday delivery day.
There is a standard delivery and fuel charge of $7.00 for all deliveries, except for county deliveries which will also incur additional delivery fees from the transport company. As we have a few drivers delivering to specific areas it is often difficult to determine a delivery time, it also depends on the number of orders on that run and any new customers. However, you should receive your order before dark. Adelaide Hills and Barossa customers will more than likely have a late delivery when we are not in daylight savings as I have a huge run through that area. If you have not received your order by 9pm on the Wednesday please contact us asap.
When placing your order please advise of a safe, cool place where your box can be left.
