Bottled in August 2023, just in time to launch for the Royal Show, we had amazing feedback on how fabulous it is.
Hand picked, completely chemical free, old vines dating back over 60 years this wine is something special, and made by one of the Barossa's most renowned and award-winning winemakers.
Tasting Notes:
Immerse your senses with an initial lift of potpourri perfume, then fruit cake, cinnamon, spice, raisins together with a hint of nutty oak.
This wine is medium to full bodied, ripe red and black fruits dominate, with tannins evident giving solid structure and backbone.
Balanced acidity provides freshness with flavours of plum, licorice and slight chocolate, finishing long with lingering fruit.
An enjoyable Shiraz now or for cellaring over the next decade.
